NewCom launches Advantech DVB-RCS MiniHub™ for Africa/Latin America Projects
 As part of our ongoing commitment to provide flexible, cost-efficient solutions for the governments, businesses, military institutions and organizations we serve, we recently teamed with Advantech Wireless
Broadband to launch its DVB-RCS MiniHub™ for two new projects we are facilitating in Africa and Latin America.
The projects, which involve a utility network and a government private secure network, involve star configurations that connect outlying locations with a main hub or several hubs.
Along with the bandwidth and configuration flexibilities afforded by Advantech's DVB-RCS MiniHub™ solution, the MiniHub includes built-in acceleration and compression technology that greatly maximizes bandwidth usage on both uplink and downlink services
- resulting in less usage and lower costs. The MiniHubs for the Africa and Latin America projects will be installed on site and managed remotely from our Miami teleport.
Amazonas 2 Deployment Offers High-Capacity Satellite Coverage throughout Latin America
